History says that there in one French city, there was a bar where Kurt Cobain’s Nirvana performed as a warm-up’er for Lithuanian rockers BIX. But that was a long time ago.
Today BIX, after more than ten years of total lack of new songs, finally have new material. Their new album is called “Ray”, with “Įgėlė” as the leading single.
While “Įgėlė” sounds fresh and modern enough for our times, it’s got all the BIX’ish ingredients: a bit of ska and reggae put in the context of rock so alive thanks to the parts of saxophone, trombone and trumpet. The legend is back.
