With its overlapping electronic and acoustic sounds, deep rhythms, clear melodies and penetrating lyrics, Driezhas is a music project for sound lovers. Its founder, Kristijonas Lučinskas, is a sound designer, a composer, and a performer.

Since 2011, he’s been accompanied by talented singer and poet Ieva Astromskaitė, who brought even more colors, vitality, and charm to the project.

“Liūdnos liūdnos akys” (meaning “Sad Sad Eyes”) could be best song from their new album, “7”, and maybe in all Driezhas discography. This track evokes a sense of being in a spaceship cabin, and playing music of Ulrich Schnauss, Underworld, The Orb, DJ Tiesto and other ambient/trance giants, who compete for a spot at a cosmic synthesizer.

You can stream “7” in its entirety on Bandcamp.
