Why not? – asks 25-year-old Maja Koman in the French title of her debut album, “Pourquoi Pas”, although you’ll rather hear her sing in Polish and English. Maja’s influences are as diverse as her language preferences, and apart from singing she plays piano, ukulele and karimba. Accompanied by the trio of double bass, violin and percussion, she offers music both elegant and unpredictable.
