Mari Cheba is an electronic Ukrainian trip-hop group, founded by the lead singer and songwriter Mari Cheba. Her charismatic vocal skills have been appreciated by the world music industry: she became the winner of the title “Best Female Vocal” at “Trip Hop Nation” among performers from America and the countries of Europe.

In 2014, Marie Cheba performed on the Maidan in Kiev, then together with the group went to the East of the country and at some point realized that people did not want to hear about war, but about peace. So she decided that the mission of musicians should be healing in the world. Marie writes songs only in Ukrainian: “I love our language, its intimacy, and warmth.”
Cheba writes honest, melancholic music and social texts about the reality surrounding us – about the soldiers, the battlefield, the war. The gentle, lyrical composition is supported by professional sound: Maria Cheba has experience working with the producer Evgeny Stupka.
