Magnificent debut EP from Aysha de Groot also known as Meis.
MEIS is the solo project of Aysha de Groot who you might recognize as live band member of Eefje De Visser. For her own music, De Groot draws inspiration from acts like Clairo, Big Thief and Bon Iver.
This year she released the magnificent debut EP “Een”. Latest single “Alsof” is a touching pop song that deals with ruminations about authencity.
For the music video, Meis went back to the pop venue De Boerderij (The Farm) that her mother used to manage, resulting in an intimate live portrait of the band.
