With her stunning first single “Words”, the Dutch newcomer Naaz makes the whole world listen even before the local audience does.

With music being widely available via streaming platforms, it happens more and more that starting local artists reach a big international audience before they even have a breakthrough in their own country.

Naaz has a similar story. After taking part in Holland’s Got Talent a couple of years ago, the 19 year old singer decided to take the time to focus on her musical career. After a couple of years of silence her first and self-produced single “Words” came out and gained a lot of international attention.

And not without a reason; “Words” is a powerful and catchy pop song combining a killer chorus with a lush production. For now Naaz is writing and recording more music, so we can hopefully enjoy more of her melodic pop in the near future.

Naaz’s next single will be released on August 18th.
