One of the most inspiring voices in the Mexican scene, Natalia Lafourcade hasn’t released any new original music since her 2009 “Hu Hu Hu.”

With this new track, the 31-year-old songwriter announces a new album of the same title, “Hasta la Raíz”, a result of Natalia’s inner exploration of her Mexican-Chilean-French roots as well as discovering the country anew.

Universal yet uniquely performed, hopefully the single will be followed by a full-length record of the same intensity.
