When I saw Crying Boys Cafe performing a while ago they brought a palm tree with them. As if that isn’t enough reason to love a band, their debut single “I Was A Singer” is a brilliant doo wop lullaby, with a clever DIY sound that will make hearts of Mac DeMarco and Future Islands fans beat a little faster.
