After a lapse of five years, seminal synth indie rockers New Pants (新褲子), one of the pioneering indie rock bands in the nineties, return with their eighth album “Because of You Life Is Hot” (生命因你而火热).

Trading in their retro electro punk sensibilities with high soring melodies and somber lyrics, this is a more mature band. And on their hit single “About Insomnia and Night of the World” the band gives a voice to the lost souls of the city.
