Taiwanese singer-songwriter Niki proves that a bad relationships can inspire a great album.
The legendary American band Morphine once released an album titled “Cure for Pain”. For the rising Taiwanese singer-songwriter Niki, music serves not only as a way to process her feelings about past relationships but also as a platform to showcase her incredible songwriting talent.
“Pride and Prejudice” is Niki’s 5th album self-produced by herself. By using simple recording equipment, she captures the joys and sorrows of her past, as well as seemingly unrealistic promises of the present.
In terms of creative motivation, the beauty of what has faded often sparks an endless flow of energy. This album, featuring fifteen songs, offers listeners an alternative layer of cure for pain.
