Innovative Ghanaian-Swiss vocalist/musician Joy Frempong and drummer/producer Lleluja-Ha make up the incomparable duo OY.

Joy gathered inspiration for the recently released “No Problem Saloon” album during a series of trips to Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana and South Africa. Back in Oy’s Berlin studio the field recordings were mixed into an intriguing blend of Western electronica, pop and traditional Ghanaian/African music.

And yes, the video for “Market Place” was shot at a market in Accra, Ghana.
