When not acting in films or sitting in front of TV camera, Glaiza de Castro visits recording studios from time to time, working with underrated music producers from the local indie scene. Her latest album, “Synthesis”, came into fruition because of her unrecognized passion for music.
The immediately loveable first single “Dusk ’til Dawn” shows Glaiza completely freed from the expectations of celebritydom. It somehow reminds you of indie-pop heroes Cults or The Concretes, except Glaiza doesn’t belong to any particular niche. She’s found her own way to assert a sparkle of personality outside of commercial glamor.
