Two-piece indie project, Miles and Mot have been giving us breezy, guitar-driven pop for a few years now. But their full-length debut album, “Island View”, will only come out this year – maybe because their homes are separated by over 1000 kilometers.

With “Steering”, the new single off the upcoming record, Miles and Mot celebrate their affection for bright, wide-eyed melodies. While Camera Obscura comparisons are inevitable, “Steering” is comfortable in its own direction: the wistful lyrical content makes for some swoony listening experience and the music brings a glistening effect even in its bedroom production origins.
