Up Dharma Down

Over ten years into their career, Up Dharma Down remain one of the most intriguing bands on the Filipino scene, maintaining indie credibility for their obvious talents while becoming an (almost) household name.

You don’t need to look further for an explanation of this phenomenon than the Manila band’s latest single, “All The Good Things”, accompanied by a video shot in Singapore. On the one hand, it’s a simple if extremely likeable rendition of 80’s pop. On the other, it perfectly demonstrates Up Dharma Down’s distinct restraint and sophistication rooted in their immense musical knowledge.

This track deserves a repeated play; and I’m sure both casual listeners and indie aficionados would agree.
