It’s almost 15 years since Nasekomix started their career, but they are still an independent band, and their sound remains as young and natural as in their early days.

Bulgaria

After the quarrelsome existance of their previous band My Disorder was over, Victor Ivanov (vocals, guitar) and Antoni Trandev (drums) formed a new band called Bears and Hunters. Then they met Ivan Valev (bass) and Petar Trifonov (guitar) and entered the Homeovoxmusic label.

Ruth Koleva (Рут Колева) is among the best artists Bulgaria can offer and she’s back with the lead single off her third album.

Beloslava (Белослава) returns with another chilling love song in her well-known style. She has been trading the slow-jams jazzy pop melodies card for a long time, but this has not stopped her from being pretty laid-back, out-of-the-box performer with a sweet low voice and relaxing demeanor.

Probably the best soul and funky export Bulgaria has had for a pretty long time. Ruth’s soulful vibes and delicate presence have been noticed by Mark Ronson, who praised her debut album on Twitter. “Better” is a good sample of the worldwide appeal this girl has.
