Post-Modern Connection

Nigeria. Lebanon. Taiwan. Canada. Hear the world.

Based in the Canadian city of Kelowna, the quintet Post-Modern Connection truly believe in their name. They’re post-modern, mixing rock, indie, pop, soul, electronic and classical music without paying too much attention to these and other labels. And they’re about connections, since “the lead singer and guitarist Tega comes from Nigeria, lead guitarist Georges from Lebanon, their bassist Steven comes from Taiwan”, while “drummer Cam and synth player and violinist Mitch call Canada their birthplace”.

PMC started to share their music abour three years ago, namely 2-3 songs each year, and now they’re ready to release their debut EP. The first single off that upcoming mini album is “Folie a Deux”, accompanied by a video directed by David Vassiliev and officially inspired by Wes Anderson.

Most recently, we got another taste of the EP called “In the Dark“. What’s makes both songs similar and is also true about their earlier catalogue is that it doesn’t really sound like such mixture of diverse music inspirations and/or diverse origins. So it wouldn’t be anything wrong if they shortened their name to just Connection.
