“Angels” is the new single from Lebanese singer & bandleader Sandmoon’s new album “Put a Gun/Commotion”, due for release in the spring of 2020.
The singer describes her new album as a collection of 9 indie pop/rock songs covering different topics, from absolute love and break-ups, to death and revival and observations on society.
As for “Angels”, “it is about absoluteness. It’s listening to your higher self, your angels, and fully living your life, with absolute love. For love is the only true thing that remains when everything else disappears.”
Recorded and produced with the ubiquitous Fadi Tabbal in Beirut, the song is driven by a throbbing bass line and Sandmoon’s elegiac vocals. A must-listen.
