Beirut-based indie folk project Sandmoon comes back with a 3-track EP and an enchanting new video.
With the singer-songwriter Sandra Arslanian leading the project, Sandmoon – already introduced here at beehype a while back – remains one of the most interesting folk / indie rock projects in Lebanon, as each release brings a slightly different colours and emotions – but always great melodies.
Sandmoon’s latest video, “Shiny Star”, comes from their new 3-track EP called “Beirut – Berlin Session“. The clip directed by Tracy Karam takes us from delicacy through a little bit of misty indeterminacy up to the emotional drama, which might be just the right way to describe the song itself as well.
