You might already know very well about Shugo Tokumaru (トクマルシューゴ), a Japanese singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Tokyo and famous for his love for rhythm, beautiful themes and playing any device he can bring to the studio.

Shugo is expected to release his new, long-awaited album soon, which will be a follow-up to 2012’s “In Focus?“. For his new material, he teamed up with Maywa Denki (明和電機), Tosa Novmichi’s project from Hyogo, who has been making unique instruments as if he was a boss of electric devices manufacturing company.

Shugo’s chamber pop sound is enforced by Meiwa Denki’s amazing instruments. And you can watch all of them in his latest music video “Vektor” below.
