Sister Wood

Gearing up to release their debut album rather sooner than later this year, the British-Polish trio Sister Wood have emerged as a surprisingly refined (indie) pop outfit.

But there’s a reason for that. Sisters Rachel and Sarah Wood have been playing together for over 10 years already, and Łukasz Moskal drummed in TV famous folk-pop group Zakopower and performed with the revered singer-songwriter Katarzyna Nosowska.

Formed in London about two years ago, Sister Wood planned to release “Language Barriers” in January this year (is there an inside joke in the title?). But as they sing in “Under Covers”, the first single off the upcoming record, “We hide it in our pocket and we will find it when we want them to know.”
