A taste of advantageous alternative rock from Beijing on Siyunge’s first solo release, “Channels”.

Siyunge is the solo project from one half of the now defunct Beijing surf rock duo The Dyne.

His involvement in various sound projects led to his debut “Channels” – a exploratory album with rich ambience and texture, and one that finds a home for Siyunge’s 60s tinged guitar work which couples nicely with the dense electronic layering.

With a guest spot from singer Yanyer and a killer “kraftwork” beat that carries the track, the song “Park” sees Siyunge channeling all his influences and reimagining them in new and exciting ways.
