Stumari

In the loyal circle of aficionados, Stumari have long been known for their gentle and beautiful music.

Based around core musicians with extensive classical background, the band intricately arranges deceptively simple musical themes into the elaborate, colourful pieces.

Although “1227 m. Above The Sea”, their third release, comes after a gap of more than a decade, the close personal ties and continued concert activity in the meantime have greatly helped maintain the creative integrity.

The album even opens with a rearranged version of the previous work’s closing piece, and as the record develops, listeners can feel it has everything they may have loved Stumari for: lots of acoustic guitar, flutes, violin and subdued vocal melodies that get more mystic and enchanting with each listen.
