The collective Subcarpati – named after the Carpathian Mountains – was formed in 2010 by four musicians well-established in the Romanian dub/hip-hop/break scene: Bean, Omu Gnom, Mara Panaitescu and DJ Limun. This atmospheric yet immediate hit song comes off of their 2014 album, “Pielea de gaina”, and features the talented folk singer, Georgiana Mănăilă.
