Over the last few years, Minsk-based trio Super Besse has been drawing attention of those still believe in the cold wave, refreshing the genre with local flavor.

Having started the new year with some shows in the north and south of Europe and a short tour around France (they borrowed their name from a French sports resort), today Super Besse premiere their new single, “Nasilie”, or “Violence*.

“It’s quite a different thing for us,” says Maksim Kulsha, the band’s singer and guitarist. “The tempo has slowed down, letting the mix of keyboards, bass, guitar, vocals and drum machine create the atmosphere.”

The trio wrote and recorded “Nasilie” last year at a studio in Minsk, and the single was mastered by Paul Gold at Salt Mastering studio in New York.

“We didn’t want to put this material into the box, but decided to make release right now with our label I Love You Records,” says Maksim. “We’re glad to have what we’ve done.”
