When was the last time you listened to a song of a new band, and suddenly realized that they could be really big in a very short time? Just a month ago, To The States made many people experience that feeling.
Calling themselves a Eurasian New Wave band, To The States don’t really want to confine their music to the limits of a specific genre. They see their music as a journey where different ethnicities, rhythms and musical tastes come into play on a base of new wave.
When it comes to their debut single, I have every reason to believe that you’ll hit the repeat button once you listen to it: “Burn” has a nice complexity that makes you want to pay attention but doesn’t turn it into a challenge.
With every play, you hear a new element you haven’t realized before. The more you listen to it, the more it expands. Plus, it’s really catchy.
