Utopia (世外桃源樂團) is an electronic music duo blending IDM, ambient pop, trip-hop, downtempo and experimental rock. Based in Taipei, the group consists of singer-songwriter/DJ Olivia Yen and electronic/rock sound magician Sonic Deadhorse.

A former pop singer, Olivia’s voice is pliable and full of passion while Sonic Deadhorse’s music always gives the audience different experience of sound possibilities.

Their debut album, “Seconds of Life”, has been nominated for many awards for the best electronic music act, but they are still one of those acts that deserve more attention.

Right now, Utopia are recording their new album, and it will surely bring even more music genres into their mix, and even more of us to enjoy.
