My favourite artist in Venezuela, Heberto Añez Novoa a.k.a Presidente, just released his new album. The first single, “La Sociedad (de la tierra plana)”, gives us a glimpse of the 80s vibe that inhabits his third full length.

There are many things to enjoy in the latest work from Presidente, called “Ilustre Ventanal de Estrategias”, which could be possibly translated as “Distinguished window of strategies”.

Apart from the incredible pop sensibility of his songs, the most important aspect is the poetic nature of his lyrics -and Heberto’s delivery tone. Evocative, catchy and dance-y is the perfect mixture of ingredientes for one of the best releases of 2015.
