This exceptional song comes from a tribute for Chava Alberstein, a famous Israeli singer who released over 60 albums during 50 years of her career.

Based on a traditional Georgian melody, “Song Banishes the Darkness” (שיר מגרש את החושך) was already a gem in her catalogue.

But the young Tel Aviv songwriter Yael Deckelbaum (יעל דקלבאום) performs it with fresh energy and gives it a new emotional level.
