Yegna (meaning “ours” in Amharic) is an Ethiopian radio drama, talk show and music group. Yegna uses role models, both male and female, to shift attitudes and behaviours towards girls.

The storylines of their radio drama and songs address issues such as violence against girls, access to education, child marriage and teenage pregnancy. The excellent song “Taitu” and its video feature the legendary Ethiopian singer, Aster Aweke.
