Peruvian duo (and husband and wife) Alejandro y Maria Laura have just released a new video for “Nadie puede amar a un fantasma”, a single from their last album “Fiesta para los muertos”.

After years of playing her music live around Lima, the singer-songwriter La Lá has recently released her debut album, “Rosa”, evoking the sound of Barranco, a traditional district of the city. In the video for the lead single “Selva Negra” (Black Forest) you can see a talented dancer and La Lá’s brother, Alonso Núñez.

Pamela Rodriguez is a Latin Grammy nominee based in Lima. “No me quiero hacerme mayor” is her cover version of “I don’t want to grow up” by Tom Waits, and it’s a great one.

Singer-songwriter Danitse Palomino comes from Lima, the capital of Peru. She debuted in 2006 with her first solo album “Máscara de Sal”. This glorious song comes from her second full-length record called “Viaje” (meaning: voyage, journey), which brought her acclaim both within and outside of Peru.

Alejandro & Maria Laura’s producer previously worked with musician Jorge Drexler, who was the first Uruguayan ever to win an Oscar. But it’s not the only reason why this indie pop duo will probably draw international attention in the forthcoming next years. “La fiesta de los muertos” is a good example of how good they are at writing tunes immediately getting stuck in your head.

Singer-songwriter Francois Peglau currently lives in London and that’s where he has recorded his first two albums. On his latest release he returns though to Spanish language and dedicates one of the songs his first child. “La Vida Es un Misterio”, life is a mystery.
