Copenhagen duo Men Of Polaroids will release their debut album in October, but its members – Mathias Elrød Madsen and Djarn Kargin – know each other very well from different projects they’ve been playing in together for a while.
Denmark
Danish duo Kill J – Kill handling music, J the vocal – will most likely be one of the most talked about Danish acts in 2014. A couple of singles are out, “Phoenix” (which is a bit more style over substance than I care for) and here “Bullet”, where everything comes together in a perfect, melancholic electropop moment.

“Swimmingpoolens bla” is by a band with a very strong sense of poetic and pensive pop music in Danish. The title means “The blue of the swimming pool”, and the lyrics deal with the special feeling on the very few precious summer days we have in Denmark.
“Nye nummer et” is actually a song in English, only the title is Danish. It means “new number one”, and I’m not really sure why the band has chosen this title.
