Performing all around Puerto Rico these days, rising reggaeton star RaiNao has a perfect single for the summer.
RaiNao – born Naomi Ramírez – is one of the emerging voices in the queer-femme reggaeton space that has opened up in recent years (the genre has been historically very male dominated, but that is changing).
She’s been performing everywhere throughout the Island this summer, while starting to attract the international music press with recent features in Remezcla and Rollingstone.
“Tentretiene” is her latest single and it’s as close as a “summer hit” as we are to get in such a fractured music industry. It blends bachata, reggaeton, and plenty of synths into a playful, shimmery vibe, perfect for sunsets and what may come after you hit the beach.
