It’s not easy to sound uncomprimising and easy listening at the same time.

But Jacopo Incani made it in this mammoth of an album (17 tracks in almost two hours).

It’s dark, complex, articulated and challenging from start to finish, but it’s not hard at all to get along and pace your feelings with it.

Extremism and experimentalism need to have a purpose to be really meaningful, and with this album, the mission is definitely accomplished.
