After a few years on the road, Xavier Feugray a.k.a. Nord decided to go to Paris in 2015 to record new songs, with the help of producer Sylvain Carpentier. Last month, he finally released his debut EP, “L’Amour s’en va”.

As if he had crossed the English Channel and brought some electronic and cold wave influences back with him (“Drunk“), his 6-track release mixes synthetisers with the “French chanson” style.

While you can stream the whole EP on Spotify and Deezer, below is the title song off the album. “L’amour s’en va” is a beautiful reminder of the French singer Bashung, combining his poetic skills with dark ambience, and evoking Scandinavian electronica.
