Musically lightweight, serious in the lyrics, check out this recent single by a young Slovak talent nicknamed Vojtik.
Recently a young 19 year old Vojtik released a single “Detviansky sen”. At first sight, the track offers a strong hook with that summer potential. But it’s much more than that.
The song is also a very powerful movement because Vojtik tells us his story of a young queer Roma boy who lives in a small town of Detva surrounded by an environment respecting only traditions – refusing anything different or unknown.
A phenomenon that is actually appliable to any small town in the country.
