Cementerio de Elefantes is melodic, psychedelic, and indubitably tinted by the sonority of the Spanish language.

You might not notice it by virtue of the indie rock format, but the vocal melodies used by the band are strongly reminiscent of Latin-American songwriters of the seventies and, at times, even folkloric and more tropical tints.

In this live session they flawlessly deliver “Estelar”, a psychedelic love song stand out from their debut record “Larutanatural“, released earlier this year.

The five piece band have slowly but steadily making a space for themselves in the local independent circuit, and they are certainly worth keeping an ear on.
