I remember an almost-complete version of this song by the Midival Punditz dropped during their stellar set at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender in Bangalore a couple of years ago.
Since then I’ve had the opportunity to hear it a few times over, at gigs or a scratch mix, and the feeling has always remained the same.
The song evokes a great sense of liberation and sees the Punditz doing their thing again with serial collaborators Pt. Ajay Prasanna and Kutle Khan. The beautiful video was directed by Santana Issar and Naasha Mehta.
