Eefje De Visser is one of the few indie artist in The Netherlands to sing in Dutch. And although even for a native speaker it’s sometimes hard to unravel the precise meaning of her songs, she manages to make every sentence sound magical.
In January, Eefje de Visser released her third record “Nachtlicht” (meaning “Night Light”), which she recorded with her live band for the first time. The result is an even fuller and drastic sound than ever.
Lead single, “Scheef” blew us away the first time we heard it. It slowly builds up to a dazzling climax full of synthesizers build around Eefje’s beautiful voice. It comes with an equally mesmerizing video that you shouldn’t miss.
