Led by pianist Jesy Chiang, Cicada is not a traditional post-rock band that makes noisy and big guitar wall of sound; rather, their music consists of chamber music elements delivering the audience delicate and comfort feelings.
Focusing on our living environments, Cicada creates music inspired by their exploration of the east coast of Taiwan, and generates beautiful melodies lingering around the room.
Listening to their music is like soul redemption and makes you think more deeply about our world, with the ocean, with the wind, with the sunshine, with the happiness and sadness, with all the different feelings.
