A band name like Uncle Wellington’s Wives may cause you to expect an arty bombastic prog collective. Skip the bombastic and the prog and you come close to what this band is really delivering.
“I Will Handle It For Now” sounds very spontaneous, but may be very well thought over. The best thing about this song is that you, your friends, your children and your parents or even grandparents can enjoy it.
It is far from your average folk song though, it contains many layers that fit into each other extremely well.
This is certainly not the kind of music that mainstream radio stations will bomb you with, but if Uncle Wellington’s Wives manages to write a few tunes like this, they’ll surely build a strong reputation.
