Dom La Nena was born in Brazil and spent much of her life in France and Argentina. Her second album, “Soyo”, was recorded in Lisbon, Portugal, and released recently.
Singing in Portuguese, French, Spanish and English, Dom La Lena shows she’s definitely a global artist.
Produced by the Brazilian musician Marcelo Camelo, “Soyo” – available on Bandcamp – is an intimate work full of delicate songs. Even though most joyous, “Llegaré” – sung in Spanish – presents Dom La Nena young, sweet, and delicate. But behind her breathy and fragile voice there’s sincerity and humanity.
Directed by Jeremiah and featuring a set of retro photographs, the clip was recorded during Dom La Nena’s USA tour.
