Manila-based collective Jensen and the Flips is obviously inspired by the legacy of Motown, combining the groove of classic soul with contemporary pop.

After releasing a bunch of retro-flavored tracks, the band now tries the art-damaged digital R&B inspired by the likes of The Weeknd and How To Dress Well – with a little help from the electronic producer Rez Toledo.
