Lithuanian singer-songwriter Alina Orlova is one of those Internet-era artists whose music was discovered simultanously in her home country and abroad by listeners unconcerned about artist’s origin – but only with what she or he’s got to offer.
This spring, Alina released a new album called “88”. The first single, “Sailor”, shows that she’s found a new way to express her poetry. She now sounds different than she has ever before, certainly more electronic. But it’s still the same Alina. Whether you play the “Sailor” or any other songs off “88”, you’ll immediately recognize this modest girl’s unique vocals and the dreamy, poetic, peaceful atmosphere of her music.
