Monika feat. Andrew Wyatt

Monika is probably the top selling English spoken singer in Greece, having most of her concerts around the country sold out. She started her career as a background musician in her brothers’ indie band Serpentine at the age of 17 to release her first solo album “Avatar” in 2008. A folk singer influenced by Rufus Wainwright, Elbow, The Beatles, Ennio Morricone and the Greek composer Manos Hadjidakis, she returns now with her 3rd studio album, entering the discotheque with a totally different sound.

Soul of the 70‘s, old school electro pop that will remind you of Soft Cell, postmodern disco flavor at times evoking the Bee Gees. Recorded in New York and produced by Homer Steinweiss, “Shake Your Hands” features the voice of Andrew Wyatt – the singer of the Swedish band Miike Snow – next to Monika’s.
