Adding European influences (the band is based in Amsterdam) to South African rhythms and energy (the leader, Cata.Pirata, comes from South Africa), with an obvious love for artists like M.I.A., Skip&Die offers the right mix of unpredictability and catchiness.

“Cosmic Serpents” is the (splendid) eponymous track off their recently released second LP. However colourful, it’s just an example of the global welter you will find on their album.
