Schérazade could be the heroine of the “Mille et une Nuits tale”. But this mysterious French newcomer is obviously just an amazing singer with a lyrical and sensual voice.
Singing “L’Amour à plusieurs”, a cover of Ann Sorel’s 1972 cult retro song, Schérazade plays with music genres as much as she’s attracted by the Nouvelle Vague cinema and the modern pop icon.
The track was first released in 2014, but now it has finally received a proper visual treatment from Lamar & Nik.
“L’Amour à plusieurs” is the first single off Schérazade’s upcoming debut album, due to come out some time next year. Among her collaborators are producers Rory, guitarist of Connan Mockasin, and Mocky, who’s previously collaborated with Feist, Gonzales, Jamie Lidell among others.
