P-Type

P-Type is among the inventors of Korean Rap method, and still has deep interest in the language structure. He recorded one of the classic albums of Korean Rap, “Heavy Bass” in 2004, and his new video talks about the first single off that famous record, “Don Quixote”.

In “Don Quixote 2” (돈키호테 2), he is back with 1990’s lo-fi boom-bap sound, impressive technical skills and rough themes. He talks about americanization of hip-hop in Korea (but ironically, by the method), about Korea’s reality and P-Type himself.

All of that is also well-mixed in the lyrics of his 4th album, “Street Poetry”, and pronounced with P-Type’s drum-like rhythm which I hope you will enjoy.
